Walk to be flagged off in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore on November 4, 2012
 

Walking is the simplest and most inclusive form of physical activity. Just a 15-minute brisk walk per day can have significant health benefits, even adding up to three years to our life expectancy. From doctors to fitness gurus to our grandmothers, they have all supported walking as a sure shot way to stay fit and healthy. However, most of us tend to work very long hours in high pressure jobs leaving them with no regular leisure time for physical activities like gymming and heavy workouts. Walking, therefore, is an easy way to give our bodies the much needed exercise, and a great opportunity to spend time with family and friends and to de-stress too!

Max Bupa Walk for Health is a multi city initiative aimed at reinforcing the benefits of walking and encouraging people to build more walking into their everyday lives.
